| FarmVille releases more Southwestern themed items Posted:  It's another day, so of course that means another update in FarmVille chock full of new items. It seems that not a day goes by where they're not adding on to their already massive Southwestern theme. This release has some fun items, including two new large buildings, wagon, and an adorable little Bobcat for adoption. While your farm might not have room for all of these new items, you may have to sell or store some things to make room. Here is the list of new Southwestern items that were released in FarmVille late tonight: Adobe Arch - 3,500 coins Ball Cactus - 1,500 coins Hacienda - 46 Farm Cash Turquoise Gallery - 46 Farm Cash Grand Wagon - 8.800 coins Campfire - 6,000 coins Adobe Gateway - 3,700 coins Bobcat - 22 Farm Cash It's a regular Oregon Trail in FarmVille, complete with the wagon, the fire to roast food, and the trusty bobcat companion? Well, it might look cute but it's no domestic housecat! The Bobcat, Hacienda, and Turquoise Gallery are also available to send to your friends as a gift. All of these items have 23 days left on them before they will be leaving the FarmVille market. Are you pleased with the Southwestern theme in FarmVille so far? What else could they release?

| Mom's FarmVille farm pays tribute to daughter with cancer Posted:  For every story about a mother neglecting their children while playing FarmVille, there's a touching story that might bring a tear to your eyes. Like this story about a mom who decorated her farm (which includes a purple and yellow cancer awareness ribbon, and a stream that looks like a second ribbon) in honor of her 4-year-old daughter with neuroblastoma, cancer of the nervous system. | Happy Aquarium: Adopt a Lost Baby Axolotl (a.k.a. Wooper Looper) Posted:  The newest addition to the orphaned critters family is the Axolotl -- a neotonic mole salamander that comes from a lake in Mexico City. "Neotonic" is a fancy adjective telling us that these are salamanders that have failed to grow up into a proper salamander, so they're stuck as infantile gilled lizards. Fortunately for them, this also makes them a very popular pet in America, Britain, and Japan. So yes, not only is this Axolotl sad because it's been abandoned by his family (according to Happy Aquarium) during a Cinco de Mayo parade, but it'll never know the visible joys of puberty. I think this thing has won the virtual pet sob story of the year, don't you?

Aside from providing beautiful frozen vistas, the snow makes the northern half of the island totally useless. However, Tiki Resort has released a charm to finally melt the snow. No summer getaway should have snow so close the beach and luckily, the new Sun Charm here to make our resorts a little more tropical. Think of it as as a little global warming in charm form!

| Wild Ones releases new Ice Bridges map Posted:  Different from the other Wild Ones levels, Ice Bridges' design provides a unique experience. As pictured above, the players spawn divided, with a solid bridge of ice separating the players. This means that if a pet desires to attack a player on another level, they must first tunnel through the ice with explosive weapons. As a result, the Drill Gun becomes the weapon of choice for Ice Bridges. Finally, in situations like the one above, players seeking survival will often team up, creating an intense 2 vs 2 standoff. Many of the levels in Wild One require higher levels to be unlocked. This is a problem for fans who aren't Wild Ones addicts, and who might simply enjoy a game now and then. These players will never experience most of the maps. More importantly, their lower level limits them to a choice of just a few levels. The release of this frigid battlefield comes in response to the growing number of fans criticizing the limited level selection. Ice Bridges comes as a small breath of fresh arctic air, giving players a break from the stale map assortment. So be sure to head to Wild Ones and battle enemy pets on the newly released Ice Bridges.
