Mafia Wars Paris items spotted in the wild? Posted: 23 Apr 2010 10:30 AM PDT The same week we learned that Paris would be an upcoming destination in Mafia Wars, Mafia Wars Maniac catches wind of someone who's purportedly stumbled across four Parisian items before the game launches. Those items include the following: French Kiss 75 Attack, 45 Defense The Fixer 30 Attack, 56 Defense DaVinci Q415 63 Attack, 103 Defense Parisian Map 0 Attack, 0 Defense We've contacted Zynga to confirm if these items are from Mafia Wars Paris, or if this is a Photoshop hit job. Have you seen any Mafia Wars Paris items? If so, what did you see?

Pet Society: Hideeni spotted giving away rare intergalactic items Posted: 23 Apr 2010 09:00 AM PDT Keep your eyes peeled while playing Pet Society over the weekend -- Hiddeni is on the move again and this time you'll find him loitering in your pets' and neighboring pets' houses, wearing a spacesuit and handing out rare space-themed gifts that you can pass along to pals. There are 12 astronomical gifts in all -- a series of planets and stars which can be collected and hung on a wall in your pet's abode. Yellow Planet Purple Planet Pale Moon Dark Moon Ursa Minor Ursa Major Small Asteroids Giant Asteroid Yellow Shooting Star Pink Shooting Star Blue Shooting Star Black Hole OK, so it is just us or it a little creepy that a character wearing a spacesuit breaks into our pets' houses and then just hangs out, waiting to be discovered? At least she/he/it has the decency to come bearing gifts, which somehow doesn't make it seem so bad. Which Hideeni space items have you collected so far?

Wild Ones: Exclusive sneak peek at Antigrav Missle Posted: 23 Apr 2010 07:00 AM PDT Over the last few weeks, Wild Ones has been releasing new content. New accessories and the Spider Bomb are among the new items. This week, fans eager for more are getting a sneak peak at the new Antigrav Missile. As demonstrated in the video above, this new missile is not affected by gravity like other weapons are. This means that there is no arc to take into consideration, it flies perfectly straight. In addition, the missile looks powerful; in comparison to the regular missile, the Antigrav Missile's explosion seems significantly larger. However, as seen above, the catch seems to be While it's awesome to see Wild Ones expanding their arsenal and adding some variety to gameplay, the question on everyone's mind is: what's it going to cost? Unfrotunately, 30 Spider Bombs cost 24 Facebook Credits. However, like the accessories released, the new Antigrav Missile will be available for coins in the store, allowing everyone to get in on the wacky antics! Be sure to check back in with the blog as we'll have all the new information and Wild Ones announcements. Note: To view the above video in high quality, click here.

Zoo Paradise rolls out new items to decorate your zoo Posted: 23 Apr 2010 07:00 AM PDT The game is a tycoon style zoo simulation that puts you in the place of a zookeeper with a large zoo to tend to and guests to entertain and satisfy. It has the same art style as Crowdstar's other games, Happy Pets, Happy Aquarium, and Happy Island, and is a pretty enjoyable game. Zoo Paradise has just released a whole new set of decorations to place in your zoo, and we have the scoop for you. Here is the full list: Japanese Pagoda - 12 Facebook Credits Ornamental Grass - 2 coins Rope Fence - 2 coins Iron Lamp Post - 4 coins Prickly Pear Cactus - 8 coins Stone Planter - 8 coins Small Mountain Rock - 8 coins Layered Rock - 9 coins Stubby Cactus - 11 coins Hook Cactus - 12 coins Frosty Tip Evergreen - 13 coins Boulder - 13 coins Barrel Cactus - 13 coins Evergreen Tree - 13 coins Rounded Boulder - 13 coins Fern Tree - 14 coins Beany Boulder - 14 coins Large Mountain Rock - 14 coins Large Skinny Cactus - 16 coins Large Budding Cactus - 17 coins Eucalyptus Tree - 17 coins Rhino Topiary - 21 coins Baby Elephant Topiary - 21 coins Bear Topiary - 21 coins Saguaro Cactus - 23 coins Picnic Table - 26 coins Rope Jungle - 32 coins Stone Bench - 33 coins Romanesque Bench - 36 coins Bronze Turtle Statue - 86 coins Bronze Tiger Statue - 101 coins Bronze Seal Statue - 120 coins You'll notice that out of all of this massive update, there is only one decoration that isn't available for coins and its the Japanese Pagoda. The pagoda is actually quite simple, so it's surprising to us that it's the paid item instead of one of the bronze statues or topiaries. This is a huge update with lots of bits and pieces to use to really make your zoo stand out and make your patrons happy. Which of the new items are you most excited for in Zoo Paradise?

Cafe World: Super Stove now easier to complete Posted: 23 Apr 2010 05:00 AM PDT The Super Stove is a great addition to your cafe, because it allows you to skip all preparation stages while cooking a recipe. No chopping, slicing, and mixing! However, 50 pieces to build it can end up being frustrating, especially if you have only a few friends who play Cafe World. It appears that perhaps Zynga are noticing that players aren't making enough progress on their Super Stoves, so they've decided to make it easier for everyone. It will be interesting to see if they end up making this change a permanent one. What do you think? How close are you to completing your Super Stove?

Pet Society Shopaholic Credit Card: Everything you need to know Posted: 23 Apr 2010 04:00 AM PDT Collecting Paw Points is the name of the game in Pet Society. You get Paw Points by buying and placing furniture and decorations in your pet's house, by visiting your neighbors, by cleaning your pet, and by spending time doing various activities in Pet Society. The new Shopaholic Credit Card is an item that you place inside your house anywhere you'd like. It will make it so that you earn 10% extra Pet Points for every item that you buy in Pet Society. Neat, isn't it? If you're already maximum level or do not care about your level, you may not want this credit card, however we think it is a rather interesting piece of decor. Also, even if you're max level, your points will still accumulate and the neighbor bar at the bottom of your screen is sorted by Paw Points. Therefore, you may be unable to level up anymore but you can still pass your friends in the most Paw Points! Some people are a bit disappointed that it's only 10%, but that will definitely add up over time! The new Shopaholic Credit Card is available for 15 Playfish Cash in any shop you visit. It's unclear if this will be a permanent feature or a limited time. Do you have the new Shopaholic Credit Card? Do you notice a big difference in leveling speed?

Then wait a few more days for the blue fruit to show up. Or, you can speed up the process by using the tree fertilizer which costs 1 Playfish Cash. This new feature does not affect your Ugly Duckings, nor Baby Turkeys. These special animals will still allow you to pull down to choose move or transform if you wish. Social City releases two new coin buildings: City Hall and the Grocery Store Posted: 23 Apr 2010 03:00 AM PDT Unfortunately, you do have to be relatively high in level to unlock them. The Grocery Store is unlocked at level 26, and the City Hall is unlocked at level 27. Previously, there wasn't much for higher level players - the highest level building was a level 24 item. What city doesn't have a grocery store and city hall? What do you think of the new buildings? Will you be buying one or both?

Get crafty! FarmVille crafting cottages sneak peek Posted: 23 Apr 2010 02:00 AM PDT Looks like all of that planting and harvesting in FarmVille will go toward something more than earning coins and XP. All that labor may soon go toward creating more useful in-game items. These images from FV fan herec0mesth3sun shows off four new crafting cottages: a Perfumery, Winery, Bakery and Fuel Workshop. Each cottage appears to have a specific function, respectively, making perform, wine, pastries and fuel. The buildings aren't ready for purchase yet (and seem to be appearing in random games) but the message below hints that 'crop mastery is going to matter more than ever" when it comes to making use of these buildings. In a leaked image of the upcoming Farmer's Market, we also learned that you'll be able to combine crops to create certain items -- and we have a feeling that will play heavily into these crafting cottages as well. We don't know if the pricing information on these cottages (1 million coins each) is accurate, and we also don't know when these will officially appear in the game. If you're not familiar with the concept of 'crafting' in a game, it's an extremely popular activity that's been going on in massively multiplayer online games, such as World of Warcraft, for years. Based on that, we can only presume the same crafting fever will take hold when these cottages and the Farmer's Market officially plants stakes in FarmVille. Do you think crafting will be a big step forward for FarmVille?
